Campbell was impressive in the match against the club he left for arch rivals Arsenal.
But Redknapp now believes Campbell have managed to silence the Tottenham boo-boys.
He said: “Sol’s been great for us since he’s been here. He totally dominated Roman Pavlyuchenko.
“But I thought the abuse he got was disgusting. No-one deserves to be called filthy names that have got nothing to do with football.
“It’s not right. You’ve got kids in the crowd.”
