Pogrebnyak have confirmed the news to Spanish newspaper Marca.
He said: “They have been my favorite team sine I was a kid. When I was a child, my father game me a Bayern kit with Jurgen Klinsmanns number 18 at the back.”
The Russia international striker scored two goals in the UEFA Cup semi-final against Bayern Munich last season.
