Valencia was drawn in group G along with FC Copenhagen, St. Etienne, Rosenborg and Club Brugge.
Emery told Valencia’s website: “Our toughest competitors are Rosenborg and St Etienne.
“But the climate could also be one of our biggest challenges.”
Rosenborg won 2-0 in both home and away against Valencia in last season’s Champions League.
