La Gazzetta dello Sport claims Giovinco has agreed a new five-year deal starting at around £600,000 per season.
Giovinvo is regarded as one of Italy’s most promising players and has been linked with Arsenal in recent months.
It is believed the new contract will be signed when Giovinvo returns from action with Italy’s Under-21 side.
