Figueroa has been struggling with injuries and has just played 21 games in two years for Genoa.
“The group have given me a great welcome and I already know a few of them,” Figueroa revealed.
“I’m hoping to acclimatise quickly and to repay the faith that the club have shown in me.”
The 27-year-old joined Genoa from Villarreal in 2006.
