Meyer will replace Jos Luhukay, who was axed as Moenchengladbach coach two weeks ago.
“He is an experienced and nice man – just the right man for our present situation,” Mönchengladbach chairman Hermann Jansen told Express.
This will be Meyer’s second stint with the club. He previously led the club between 1999 and 2003.
