Rosenborg sport director Erik Hoftun said: “It is important with continuity. Lago has been here for three years, and is a player that we want to have with us further.
“He had played mange games for us this year and have shown that he is a good defender. I am very pleased that he has signed.”
Lago said: “I am very happy to be here the next three years. My wife and two sons will move up to Trondheim before the start of the 2009 season.”
