Catania will take on surprise leaders Udinese at the Stadio Massimino tonight.
“Udinese are doing very well in the championship but our side isn’t inferior to theirs,” Lo Monaco stressed.
“We are only two points behind them in the table even though they spent more than us.
“The Friulani play good football and are very strong going forward but we can respond with our defence.
“This game will be a great challenge and I hope to see the stadium sold out
“We didn’t play as well as we are capable of against Siena but we did a good job in getting the result.
“We defended very deep and the midfield didn’t keep hold of the ball, but perhaps the injuries in the squad took their toll.”
