Palermo sporting director Walter Sabatini is ready to make a £8million bid for the 20-year-old in the January transfer window.
Kalinic himself has expressed his interest in joining Valencia.
“I believe the clubs will find a deal,” Kalinic told Sportske Novosti.
“If the offer satisfies Hajduk, I am ready to go.
“All sides would benefit, Hajduk would earn big money and I would get a completely new challenge.
“My current contract runs until the summer of 2010, and I think that this winter is the perfect time for a transfer.”
