The Dutchman believes Italian teams struggle to cope with wingers.
“I like to play against Italian teams because they are not used to wingers and they do not like it,” he told AS.
“Against Roma last season I had one of my best games for Madrid and I hope to do well against Juve this week.”
“For us this European Cup is special. Madrid has nine and ten is a symbolic number. The tenth would be very important in the history of the club and I know the fans want us to,” he continued.
“I also think that this is our year and I can state that it is also the feeling of the rest of the players.
“Last year was very bad because we played well enough against Roma but still lost. In the Bernabeu we have to win all our games and it is clear that we cannot do so now.”
