Gerrard was given a penalty when he crashed into Mariano Pernia in the 95th minute of the clash on Tuesday.
“For sure, I would sign Gerrard to do a movie because he is a good actor,” Cerezo told Marca.
“It’s a shame that we didn’t qualify for the Champions League’s last 16, as we lost the point we needed because of this penalty.
“We can be upset but that doesn’t change anything. Once the game is over, you are powerless, you can bang your head against the wall, but that’s all you can do because it isn’t going to change the result.
“We are part of the rare teams that remain unbeaten, but I am only focused on my team. Atletico have had a great season in the Champions [League] and we are going to start a new great campaign in La Liga starting from Saturday.”
