“We have a more mature side and there is more quality with respect to last year and I think we can surprise people for this,” Kaka told La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
“My objective is to win the Scudetto and the UEFA Cup. I aiming for the double so that we can make even more history.
“I think the turning point for us this season was against Lazio. They were in great form and we beat them by playing very well. The derby win also gave us a massive lift.
“We haven’t been brilliant in terms of play but we have been consistent in terms of results and this is a positive thing. Maybe we need more fantasy but we musn’t forget we are missing someone great like Pirlo.”
Kaka and Brazil will face Portugal in an upcoming friendly later this month.
“I am really looking forward to the game because we will be playing in the stadium near to wear I was born,” added Kaka.
“I want to win, beating Cristiano Ronaldo who I think will deservedly win the Ballon d’Or.”
