The Rossoblu managed to equalise at the end of the match thanks to an own goal by Roma’s Brazilian ace Cicinho.
“We prepared the game well,” explained Di Vaio. “When you change coach, that’s the worst thing, as that means that we all did wrong and only one pays for it.
“It couldn’t go worse than this. We reacted with pride and found a lucky draw. The draw gives us morale, so let’s hope to do better.
“At first we were trying to stop them from playing and close all the spaces in the middle. Then we knew that we could change something during the game and when we needed to recover we did so.
“We were lucky, but we searched for the equaliser until the end. We can re-start from here to reach the survival.”
