The 35-year-old has been without a club since May 2008 when his contract with PSG expired.
The Portuguese striker has revealed that he had several offer from around the world but was not interested in prolonging his career.
He told Le Parisien: “I think that within a month I could get back to an acceptable level of fitness, but it’s no longer what I want to do.”
