“If Cristiano Ronaldo wins the Ballon d’Or, it will be fully deserved,” he stressed.
“We will have to wait until December, but he has earned it for everything he has done for Manchester United and the fundamental role he played in the team’s victories.
“What are my chances? I will continue to do my bit, but the voting isn’t up to me. What will count is that Milan didn’t do anything great this year.
“My objective is to win the Scudetto and the UEFA Cup – a double that would enter Milan’s history.
“This team is more mature and has more quality than it did last season. We don’t always play that well, but we are more consistent in our results, which is a good thing.”
