Real are looking for a replacement for the injured Ruud Van Nistelrooy and has been linked with several of Europe’s best strikers in recent weeks.

“Madrid are just after Crespo and then they will swoop for another big name at the end of the season.
“Vucinic wouldn’t be eligible to play in the Champions League now because he is cup-tied and Real would have problems registering him because he is from a non-EU country.”
