Upson believes it was a ‘massive result’ for the team.
“It’s a massive result,” he told Setanta Sports.
“In the scale of things, it’s another clean sheet and perhaps at the end we could’ve nicked something.
“But it was a good, resilient performance.”
He added: “(Zola) has stuck to his beliefs.
“He’s maybe had a bit of pressure to change things, but he’s stuck to what he believes in.
“He’s got us more organised and more drilled, not only as a back four but as a whole team, and we’re starting to reap a few rewards for that.”
