Vidic was impressed with the way the reserves managed to beat Blackburn Rovers 5-3 in the Carling Cup on Wednesday.
“When you see our second team play the football they did against Blackburn, it just shows how much we’ve got and the competition we have in every position,” he said.
“That team would be in the top six or seven in the Premier League, finishing in the UEFA Cup places at worst and probably do better than that.”
