Crouch happy at Portsmouth

But the former Liverpool striker has hinted that he could leave the club in the future.

Crouch has been linked with a move to Tottenham, following the departure of Harry Redknapp to White Hart Lane.

“I am very happy here at the minute,” said Crouch.

“I enjoy working with Tony Adams but you never know what the future holds.

“It is very important we keep our best players and the players who are important to our success.”

“I enjoy playing with Jermain and vice-versa,” added Crouch. “I was very pleased to score and felt we got a deserved point.

“Jermain has tried to set me up a couple of times today and I have been involved in a few of his goals this season.

“There is no competition between us about our being top scorer but we both love scoring goals and hopefully we can continue doing that.

“Myself and Jermain have also both got aspirations of playing for England and if we continue to perform well at club level then hopefully we will get a chance.”
