Roma sealed the first place in their Champions League group, following their 2-0 victory over French side Bordeaux on Tuesday.
“It’s a great satisfaction to have finished first,” said Sensi.
“It seemed unexpected but that was not the case. We endured a difficult start (to the season) but the hope was always there.
“Now we will take it one game at a time.”
