But the French side’s move was turned down by Blues chief executive Peter Kenyon, who is not prepared to let Drogba leave the club.
“I called Peter Kenyon to sound him out about Didier Drogba,” Marseille owner Robert Louis-Dreyfus told French daily L’Equipe.
