The 34-year-old, who was a regular at Torino, will stay on loan at Siena until the summer and the club will then have an option to sign a permanent deal.
“I did not want to go away,” Amoruso explained. “Rino Foschi [the Torino director of sport] says otherwise. It’s ridiculous.
“I never asked to be sold, but at the same time I expected to be able to leave. I now only want set the story straight.
“Torino sold me. Amoruso did not sell himself. Amoruso did not want to go away.”
