Fred’s representative, Rodrigo Chaves, claims the striker is close to joining Brazilian side Fluminense.
“Negotiations with Fluminense are going really well,” he said.
“However, there are financial affairs between Fred and Lyon, such as delayed salaries and bonuses, that the club does not want to pay.
“The president wants him to give up on what he is entitled to get, and that Fred won’t do.”
