The Atletico Madrid boss says the 38-year-old is one of the best keepers on the planet.
Resino said: “I would really like to keep the record but sooner or later someone will break it.
“I know how well Van der Sar is doing in the Premier League with Manchester United and I am intrigued to see how far he can go.
“In today’s game, it’s not easy to go so many matches without conceding a goal — especially given the standard of the strikers.
“Van der Sar is one of the best six goalkeepers in the world.”
