Bruce put both Michael Brown and Mido on the pitch, despite knowing that they were not fit to play.
“We’ve made too many changes,” admitted Bruce. “Brown’s sick before the game and Mido’s only half fit. I shouldn’t have played them.
“You always have to learn from it. I have learned from it. You can’t play people who aren’t 100 per cent fit. I’ve taken a gamble today and it’s not worked.
“I thought they were the team that took the ball and looked a threat.
“We’ll take a point and move on. It’s arguably the worst we’ve played since I’ve been in charge.
“We played poorly today, but that’s eight unbeaten at home. Maybe (the fans) have been spoilt a little bit.”
