The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to Feyenoord recently, as the club are looking for a new goalkeeper.
“It’s probably better to stay at Vitesse to gain more first team experience. However, I would be honoured if Feyenoord approached me. It would be very hard to turn them down,” said Velthuizen to AD/Sportwereld.
