Cuellar believes Ronaldo could struggle at Real Madrid because the Spanish league is slower.
“I am not sure that our league would be the best for him,” the Spaniard told AS.
“You see, he is a great player, but the game in Spain is much more tactical than here, going forward it is slower and it works in a different way.
“His explosiveness and speed are better suited here.
“I compare him to (Fernando)Torres because he is thriving here much more than he did with Atletico (Madrid) because he is quick and can take advantage of the spaces that exist in Premier League defences but not in Spain.”
