Donadoni has replaced under-fire Edoardo Reja, the Serie A side has confirmed.
“We have parted company with Edy Reja and appointed Donadoni,” read a statement on the club’s official website.
“It is with great pain that we have taken this decision considering Reja’s role for the last five seasons with Napoli, during which he guided the club from Serie C to the UEFA Cup.”
