Scholes believes they can progress from their Champions League tie, if they can repeat their performance from Italy.
United dominated the clash at the San Siro and should have scored at least one goal.
“We didn’t allow Inter to play and the only thing that was missing was the goal,” said Scholes.
“We created enough chances to win two or three games and I accept 0-0 can be a dangerous scoreline.
“But if the first game is anything to go by, we should have a great chance.
“It is a tricky situation. If they do get a goal we will have to get two.
“But we are more than capable of doing that with the players we have.”
