The 18-year-old is on loan at Scottish Premiership side Falkirk, and have nettet 11 goals in 11 starts.
He said: “The lad’s done well. I’ve seen him twice in the last month against Celtic and Hearts.
“He’s a good player and he’s one we’re looking at.
“I might step up my interest because we’re looking at players to come in during January.”
