Zidan insists he is happy at Dortmund even though he does not feature regularly for the club.
“I’m really proud to be a Dortmund player, and I definitely don’t want out,” the 27-year-old said.
Zidan continued: “Dortmund are one of the biggest clubs in Germany, and all what has been said about my desire to leave is simply groundless.”
He added on the possibility of joining Ahly: “I don’t see why not, Ahly are really imposing and I deeply respect them. I would seriously consider joining them should they make overtures to acquire my services, but after all I’m happy at Dortmund.”
