The 19-year-old has impressed at Coventry after joining the Championship side from AZ Alkmaar last summer.
“I haven’t heard anything more about Celtic other than the fact they are still watching me at Coventry. Celtic are a big team with a fantastic support and are regularly in the Champions League,” Gunarsson told the Daily Record.
“That makes them an attractive proposition for any player. I’m young and have plenty of time to think about it.
“I hope to play at Hampden and if I play well I don’t think that would do my chances of moving to Celtic any harm.
“I believe our style of football is suited to playing Scotland.
“Iceland have quite a few players now who play in the UK so of course that will help us in Glasgow on Wednesday.”
