The Werder Bremen star was close to joining the Old Lady in the January transfer window.
“My feeling is that this time Juve are serious, their interest in Diego is real,” said agent and parent Djair Ribas da Cunha in Tuttosport.
“I think the Bianconeri and Werder directors haven’t spoken yet, but I know they are going to in the next few days. At least that is what we have been assured.
“Straight after Easter I will be in Bremen and will remain in Europe for two weeks. Will I return to Turin? Let’s discuss that in a fortnight, as by that date I’ll be able to tell you all the details of this operation.”
“I have already said on other occasions, Diego dreams of playing for a club that can target Champions League victory and Juve fit that bill,” continued the agent.
“Diego is focused on Werder’s next tests, but also towards next season and he wants to spend that campaign wearing the Bianconeri jersey.”
