The 19-year-old has scored 12 goals in 40 games for the Dutch side.
“Many Italian clubs have been interested in him for a long time, but he would only accept a top class side. Roma are one of them,” Alberto Faccini told Centro Suono Sport.
“He is physically very strong and solid, explosive and powerful. An excellent player. Roma are tracking him because they recognise young talent.”
“He costs around £11m,” added agent Faccini.
