The Dutchman has insisted that he will leave the club and continue as Russia boss at the end of the season.
“Every fan and every player likes to have a great manager like him so it would be good for Chelsea [if he stays],” Kalou told setanta.com.
“That will be his choice. I think he is doing a good job and he is going to make the decision.
“I don’t know what is good for him. If he stays, if he goes, I think he will make the last decision.”
Kalou added: “Of course [it would be good for Hiddink to leave with some medals]. That is why he came to Chelsea, to keep the possibility to win something this year.
“So if he decides to leave it would be nice to win something.”
