The Argentine will require reconstructive surgery to his knee and will not be back in action again this season.
“It is the end of the season for Ledesma,” a statement on Catania’s official website reads.
“He injured himself after 15 minutes of the match against Sampdoria and the scans have shown that surgery is necessary and will take place on Wednesday.”
