The Old Lady will face Lazio in the second lef of the Coppa Italia semi-final tonight.
“It’s not simply a problem of bringing in two or three champions,” he explained in an interview with Tuttosport.
“There are lots of other factors. For example we have played numerous games at night in winter this season. It was very cold and humid and this did not help. Moreover, little refereeing mistakes can always influence the course of a match.
“But it was also our fault – defensive and attacking mistakes have prevented us from doing our best. We must correct this because I don’t want to finish second or third anymore.”
