The two clubs have agreed the fee and the Blues are set for talks with the 26-year-old French midfielder, according to The Sun.
Ribery is keen on a £125,000-a-week after tax deal while the Blues are looking to offer around £90,000 a week.
Manchester United have also been linked with Ribery.
