Santos president Marcelo Teixeira claimed on Friday that the former Real Madrid star was keen on a return to the Brazilian club.
“I am very happy at City,” Robinho told globosporte.com. “Santos are the team of my heart and one day I want to go back, but not now.”
“Robinho asked for some suggestions. He is not happy in England,” Teixeira told globoesporte on Friday.
“We gave him our opinion in which way he can take in his career. He said that he is interested in returning to Santos.
“We know this is difficult because of the financial situation, but we will analyse all the possibilities.”
