The new deal will keep Ferreira at the Estadio do Dragao until 2011.
The 62-year-old managed to win the Portuguese league and cup winners this season.
“The day we faced Manchester United at the Estadio do Dragao, the Porto president and I agreed to extend my stay here for two more years,” he said.
