Insua has completed a medical and is set to start training with Boca Juniors today.
“I’m delighted, all there needs to be done is for the papers to be signed, but I don’t think there will be any problems. I did a lot for my return to become a reality and I’m only a step away from making my dream come true,” said Insua.
Medel has joined Boca on a season-long loan from Universidad Catolica, but the Argentine giants ahevt he option to sign him at the end of the deal.
“It is a dream come true. It is a very important club and they have players who I admire a lot, Roman [Riquelme], [Martin] Palermo and [Sebastian] Battaglia, who is my idol and I look forward to playing alongside him,” said Medel.
