Fontana’s contract with Palermo expired at the end of last season and the goalkeeper is currently a free agent.
“I have yet to speak with [Roma director of sport Daniele] Prade, but it could be done since there has been talk about it for two years,” agent Bruno Carpeggiani admitted to Tuttomercatoweb.
“Hope is the last to die and the player would be happy, given that he is a free agent.”
