Reports have linked the 29-year-old with a move to Saudi Arabian giants Al-Shabab in recent weeks.
“I hope I can continue my adventure at Palermo, for sure I still have a year contract and I would like to extend it,” Bresciano told Palermo’s official website.
“I have no reason to want to leave, I am well and I enjoy playing.”
