Lavezzi has admitted he would like to leave the club and has been heavily linked with a move to Premier League side Liverpool.

“He is peacefully exercising his profession as a player, by making his duty of loyalty and fidelity clear, compared to many others.
“He has not asked for a pay rise, so he does not deserve to continue to endure insults from the public.
“He solely wants to fulfil his duty as a Napoli player, whilst doing the best he can for himself and for the team.”
