Fernando Guerrero’s move to Burnley from Independiente del Valle is in doubt as talks broke down between the two clubs.
Owen Coyle stated: “We’ve had a chat, but as it is, the president is out of the country,”
“But when he gets back to us we’ll know what the situation is in terms of what finance is involved in the deal, and we’ll take it from there.
“He’s an entertaining player and a young lad with a chance.
“There’s been a bit of dialogue but we need to continue that. But that’s all it is at this moment in time.”
