After moving to Villareal for a reported 11 millions Euro’s from Internacional, Nilmar has set his sights on getting into the Brazilian World Cup squad.
He said: “I’m very anxious to start and I’m eager to please the directors and the fans.
“I know that Villarreal is an important shop window for the Brazil national team, so I hope I can be successful here and also be able to play in the next World Cup in South Africa.
“Spanish football has always attracted me, it’s very similar to Brazilian football, it’s very technical and is played with a lot of speed.
“Now I’m going to fulfil my dream of playing in Spain.”
