Mathieu Baudry is on the verge of being signed to Leeds United permanently after impressing after a 10 day trial.
Simon Grayson, Leeds manager, stated: “We’re speaking to the player and the club,
“It’s something we have to make a final decision on depending on the fee or the arrangement that we’re able to come to.
“He’s an option for us but we’re not going to pay over the odds for people or make any rash decisions.
“I think he did well in the game at Grimsby and the 10 days that he trained with us.
“He’s only young at 21 but he’s got a bit about him and if the right deal can be struck then it’s a possibility.”
