Spence has impressed Celtic’s coaching staff and is set to underfo a mecial at Parkhead.
Alloa boss Alan Maitland admits he is happy to see Spence join Celtic.
“It will be a bit of an adjustment for him going from first-team football to Celtic’s Under-19s,”Maitland told the Daily Record.
“He’ll have to work hard to return to the first-team environment. It’s a great move, fantastic. We couldn’t hold the boy back because the only way to develop as a footballer is to go full time.”
