Sanogo will join the French side for an undisclosed fee and has signed a three-year deal with Les Verts.
A statement on the club’s official website read: “The Stephanois board have landed a major blow – they have signed for three seasons the Ivorian international striker from Werder Bremen Boubacar Sanogo, who has made a reputation for himself in the Bundesliga and in the Champions League.
“Aged 26, Sanogo has all the qualities of the modern striker, quick and powerful.”
