Lazio have had an impressive start to the season and continued that with a 3-0 win over Elfsborg in the Europa League qualifying play-offs on Thursday.
Mauri scored one of the goals for Lazio against Elfsborg.
“Our start to the season has been positive with the win at the SuperCup and this success, however, we cannot get distracted,” admitted the former Udinese player to RAI.
“My goal? I thank [Mauro] Zarate for the assist.”
He added: “Our objectives? We want to do well, we are a good team and must only take things match by match, concentrating until the very end.”
